TODDY DOMESTIC GUIDE

YOU WILL NEED
PREPARATION

Carefully tear one side of your paper filter by a few centimetres, this will allow you to cleanly pull the filter over the lip of the toddy when it's placed inside.

TO BREW
00:00

With the filter in place, add coarsely ground coffee. Begin combining the 2 litres of fresh, filtered water to the coffee, working your way from the centre of the Toddy. Stir occasionally to ensure grinds are well saturated while taking care not to puncture the paper filter. Place in the fridge to brew for 8-12 hours.

8:00:00-12:00:00

Strain into the glass decanter. Serve with a ratio of 2:1 coffee to water or milk.

TODDY COMMERCIAL GUIDE

YOU WILL NEED
PREPARATION

Place commercial lift in the base of the Toddy; this will allow for an even flow of water during extraction to balance your brew. Place the Toddy strainer inside, tucking the elastic over the lip of the brewer. Carefully tear one side of the paper filter by a few centimetres. This will allow you to cleanly pull the filter over the lip of the Toddy when it's placed inside.

TO BREW
00:00

Add coarsely ground coffee to the Toddy. Slowly introduce 7L of the water to the coffee, working your way from the centre of the Toddy. Stir occasionally to ensure grinds are well saturated while taking care not to puncture the paper filter. Once the 7L of water has been added, lift the paper filter from the lip of the Toddy, and tie the bag up securely.

01:00

Add the remaining 8 litres of water outside of the tied paper filter, then place in the fridge to brew for 8-12 hours.

8:00:00-12:00:00

Strain. Serve with a ratio of 2:1 coffee to water or milk.
