Marco inherited Finca La Laguna five years ago, from his father. The farm is located very close to the Gaitania Municipality.
Despite regional lockdowns preventing travel between different municipalities, Marco was granted exemption to access to labor during the whole year to assist on his farm. Marco believes this is the reason his Caturra plantation has remained so healthy.
This coffee was pulped and left to ferment underwater for 24 hours inside ceramic tanks. Afterwards, the coffee was gently washed and placed on raised beds for 14 days until ideal moisture content was achieved.

We’ve created our filter recipes as a guide to help you achieve the same great flavours we experience in our coffees. If you are unable to reproduce the exact result on your manual brewing gear, don’t panic, an alternative is to simply adjust your recipe using the ratio so it works best for your set up.
