Organic Espresso Description

Wild Child's washed Colombian is a regional lot from Tolima in the country’s west. Colombia has everything it needs to grow coffee - the right growing conditions, abundant fertile soils, high altitudes and a variety of microclimates. This coffee is certified organic.

Colombia Organic Clavel is a blend of Catarru and Castillo varieties.  The coffee is grown in the Tolima mountains in nutrient-rich volcanic soil at an altitude of 1600-2200 masl. After being picked and processed, the beans are placed on dried on raised beds or patios to dry.

The excellence of the coffee from Tolima is the result of favourable environmental conditions, the characteristics of the soil, and the traditional wet milling and natural drying by the farmers.

The cup is smooth and sweet with notes of dried fruit, honey, toffee and dark chocolate in the finish. Its creamy texture is an irresistible match for milk and makes for a delicious espresso coffee.
