Our coffee's optimal drinking time is within 21 days of the roast date. We don't recommend drinking coffee in the first few days after roast while it is degassing, and prefer our espresso at 7 - 21 days post roast. As with all things brewing, it's worth doing a little experimentation to see what suits your palate and your brewing method best.
We roast and ship to order Monday through to Friday, except for public holidays, when dispatch dates transfer to the next available business day.
All orders are roasted by and shipped from our Brunswick East roastery.
Great question. An airtight bag or jar that’s kept out of the sun (and not in the fridge) will do just fine. So long as you keep your coffee away from airflow, moisture, heat and light (the enemies of freshness) it will keep nicely. Our 250g + 500g coffee comes in bags that are resealable, and we'd also recommend our Padre Tin.

We roast and ship Fresh Crop Subscriptions fortnightly on a Tuesday.
For recurring orders of our blend and decaf coffees, selecting the frequency is up to you! You can choose how often you’d like to be sent your coffee.
If you find yourself with excess coffee at home, it’s easy to pause your shipments via the customer portal and resume as soon as you’re ready for more!
That’s completely up to you. For Fresh Crop Subscriptions, you can select between 500g/1kg/2kg every fortnight. For recurring orders, you can choose to receive any amount in combinations of 250g/500g/1kg bags.
Each fortnight our Roast Team choose their current standout single origin coffee on our menu and send it exclusively to our Fresh Croppers. Whatever we choose, it’s guaranteed to be fresh and delicious.

We aim to send you a new coffee with every shipment, but due to the nature of sourcing coffee and seasonality, sometimes this is not possible and we will choose to rekindle your love of an old favourite. Don’t worry, though - if you fall hopelessly in love with one of our Fresh Crop coffees, you can always add one-off items to your subscription or pause your subscription while you enjoy another bag!

As a Fresh Crop Subscriber, you’ll receive free shipping on your orders.
Postage for recurring orders and other products purchased via our online store is $6 for Standard Shipping or $15 Express. We offer free freight for all orders over $55.
Depending on your location, we’ll ship either via Australia Post or Fastway Couriers. The courier asks for signature on delivery, so if you’d rather not sign just make a note of it in the comments at checkout. This also applies for requests to have your order left in a safe place if the address is unattended.
Of course! The day your order ships you'll receive an email update with tracking information for your order so you can follow its progress from our roastery to your door.

Yes! It’s easy to add additional, once-off products to your subscriptions and recurring orders via our online customer portal.
Select ‘Add Product’ under your subscription details and choose your additional item. The item will be added to your next subscription date and we’ll send them out together.
