We’re proud to announce our partnership with So They Can, a not for profit organisation committed to empowering children living in poverty through education in Kenya and Tanzania.

Recently, we were lucky enough to meet and collaborate with the incredible team at the Fitzroy Learning Network. Together with KeepCup and Specialist Espresso, we were thrilled to assist them with improving the coffee setup at their headquarters in Fitzroy. Last month, we were honoured to attend their Harmony Day event, and celebrate the cultural diversity of our community.

Gemma and Nick Watts moved to Torquay from the UK and bought King of the Castle cafe in Geelong earlier this year. The pair are committed to upholding the cafe's strong tradition of supporting the local community through various social impact initiatives. On Sunday November 15 they and their staff will be running on a treadmill to raise funds for Barwon Health through the annual Run 4 Geelong.

Moon Rabbit is an environmentally progressive social enterprise cafe in Preston, who we have been partnered with since their launch in early 2018. We’re incredibly proud of this partnership, and of the team at Moon Rabbit who constantly inspire us with their committed, passionate, innovative and generous approach to café life. Monday October 5 marks the launch of their mobile café, aptly named “On the Hop”, which will be servicing the inner north! 

Recently we had the privilege of collaborating with Melbourne-based company Chai Addict on a new product for their range of chai concentrates. We’re thrilled with the resulting Dirty Chai, which brings coffee and chai together in the best way that we’ve ever tasted. We spoke to Chloe Janson, founder of Chai Addict, about the collaboration and discovered why she’s so passionate about chai.

Following the success of our first collaboration with Melbourne band Slowly Slowly, we were excited when frontman Ben reached out for a second collaboration 'Race Car Brews', taken from the title of their newly released album Race Car Blues. Ben’s passion and clarity of vision were just so palpable from the start, he’s the kind of person that gets you excited about whatever it is he’s talking about. We just knew from the get-go that it was going to be a really special collaboration. 

Young artist and photographer Isaebella Doherty created Cream Town as an online platform to help struggling artists sell their work at the onset of the pandemic. In just a few months, it's evolved into a brilliant space in Castlemaine that entails a gallery,café, produce store and events space!

t’s amazing to see people dedicate every second Sunday to their ideas and projects, build some regularity and get momentum for something they might have been putting off for years.

It’s not often you get to be graced with the presence of a female coffee pioneer.

Awarded 2019’s Woman of the Year at this year’s Women in Coffee Awards, Gina Di Brita brought along her team of equally admirable women to our breakfast gathering at South Melbourne Market as part of the Melbourne International Coffee Expo 2019.
