Hey Buddy Blend - Filter Roast

Hey Buddy is our go-to filter blend — bright, floral, fruit-forward and always built with easy drinking in mind.

This blend brings together two coffees from Ethiopia’s Sidama region: a natural processed lot from Mofa Washing Station and a fully washed lot from Dale Washing Station. Together, they create a cup that balances juicy fruit sweetness with clarity, florality and a clean citrus finish.

The natural Mofa component brings blueberry, plum and body, giving the blend its fruit-forward character and lingering sweetness. The washed Dale component adds jasmine aromatics, lemon acidity and structure, keeping the cup lifted, clean and refreshing.

Both coffees are produced by smallholder farmers growing heirloom Ethiopian varieties at high elevation in Sidama. These conditions support slow cherry maturation and help develop the floral complexity, bright acidity and layered fruit character that Ethiopian coffees are known for.

The result is a vibrant and balanced filter blend with notes of blueberry, plum, jasmine and lemon — perfect for pour over, batch brew, Aeropress, plunger and cold brew.

Natural process – Heirloom Ethiopian varieties grown by smallholder farmers surrounding Mofa Washing Station in Sidama at 1950 MASL.

50% Ethiopia Dale Washed
Fully washed process – Heirloom Ethiopian varieties grown by smallholder farmers supplying Dale Washing Station in Dale Woreda, Sidama at 2000 MASL.

Delightful
I was looking for a light roast for a morning coffee at work and this has been perfect,
I add a dash of cold milk but I reckon I could drink it black.
To be it has a slight flora smell and taste which is delightful

Always my best Buddy
Love the blend it’s my favourite but just wish the option was to have 250 g bags without extra price . When I go to south Melb market they always oblige 2x250 g bags for same price as 500g
